This Celestron eyepiece is coated with anti-reflection material to maximize transmission of incoming light. Has a pleasing 50° apparent field of view. All lenses are carefully ground and polished from quality optical glass to provide excellent images. The anodized aluminum barrel is precisely machined and internally blackened to prevent stray light reflections and threaded to accept standard filters. The supple rubber eyeguard shields out stray light and folds down for eyeglass wearers. Comes with protective plastic case
